Taking care of Smort is of the upmost importance. Here is some information to take care of your little void dweller. Every Smort is different and it is up to you to help bring out your Smorts' personalty. Each Smort needs to be handled with care, you need to make sure you name your Smort, it will help you make a solid bond. 

Each Smort is handmade by a different Artist that is on Brie's team or The By Golly Cast, which means stitching and special care instructions are required. If your Smort becomes dirty at all it can be washed, please gently put you Smort in the washer with a small amount of soap and wash on low heat and gentle. You can also dry your Smort on the same setting, make sure it is on gently and low heat. The fur we use is fake and we don't want it to melt while in the washer. We also hand stitch all of our Smorts, so we don't want to rip on stitches either

Many Smorts have many types of fur. Cannot guarantee washing instructions will not damage different kinds of Smorts. Try to keep Smorts as clean as possible. Wondret team is not responsible if a Smort tears or rips if cleaned not properly or properly.

Over-All the recommended cleaning instructions.

Please hand wash your Smort and leave to air dry. Use a small bit of dish-soap and water. You can get  the tag wet and the entire Smort wet to clean. You can also take a little bit of washing machine detergent oe dish soap  to clean as well. Will most likely not harm your Smort fur. Then Leave to air dry. If you put in washing machine or dryer, please put on delicate. WE PREFER THE HAND-WASH METHOD (many Smorts have fell victim to the washer and dryer over time. This is due to your Smort being a piece of art and handmade.
